All lanes are certified once each season
between 1 April and 31 July.

Every lanes is inspected for:

Pin deck cross tilt (40 thousandth of an inch or less),

fore and aft tilt (187 thousandth of an inch or less)

Pin spot (less than 1/4thof an inch off center of pin spot)

Kickback width (59 5/8 to 60 inches)

Gutter depth (3 3/8 to 3 5/8 inches)

Foul lites

Lane panel gaps and drops (less than 50 thousandth of an inch)

Lane cross-tilt and Depressions at 4ft, 16ft, 28ft, 40ft, and 52ft (cross tilt 40 thousandth of an inch or less and depressions + or - 40 thousandth of an inch in relation to the 1st board on the 10 pin side of the lane)
